RELIEFS  - EDGES

Work from the beginning came from experiences in my life flying and seeing/sensing the earth from above. Aerial perspectives are countered by broken edges echoing the shapes found along shorelines or distant coastal mountain ranges.

           Cut-out landscapes begin to echo the raw hills in this Southwestern

            area; its stage-set quality becomes a backdrop for our histories.

            We begin to see differently, as if from a great distance and from

            within at a singular moment.
